Request a Mass
When a priest offers Mass, he has three intentions:
First, to offer the Mass reverently and validly in accord with the norms of the Church;
Second, to offer the Mass in union with the whole Church and for the good of the whole Church; and
Third, to offer the Mass for a particular intention.
Mass intentions can be for any of the following;
Deceased Family and Friends
Travellers
For Families
In Thanksgiving
For Vocations to Religious Life
For the growth of the church
For the needs of self
Anniversaries and Birthdays
For the Sick
For Priests and Missionaries
For souls in Purgatory
For your Bishop
For peace
For the needs of others
The fruits and infinite graces, which flow from Christ’s Sacrifice on the Cross, represented in the Holy Mass benefit the souls of both the living and the dead in this world and the next. For this reason, in the Canon of the Mass (the Eucharistic Prayer), a special mention is made for both the living and the dead.
The suggested stipend for a Mass is $15.00
You can make mass stipends by calling the Parish Office, dropping an envelope with your name, stipend and requested intention in the collection, or through the CanadaHelps link below.
